This Privacy Policy describes how Curix (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares and protects your personal information when you use our curtain intelligent matching application and related services. It also explains your rights regarding your personal data and how you may exercise those rights. By accessing and using Curix, you acknowledge that you have read and understood all terms of this Privacy Policy and consent to the data practices described herein.

1. Types of Information We Collect

Curix is designed to work without requiring you to create an account. We only process information that is necessary to provide the features you actively use. The information involved may include:

User-Provided Photos: Room interior photos you choose to take or import for AI analysis and preview generation.
User-Selected Options: Preferences you select in the app to guide the generation (for example, style and color direction).
Local Profile Data (On Device): A display name and optional avatar photo you choose to set. This is stored locally on your device.
Local App Data (On Device): Generated images, saved creations, and coin/free-tries state stored locally so the app can function.
Network Metadata: When connecting to third-party services, they may receive standard network information (such as IP address and request headers) required to deliver the request.

2. Methods and Purpose of Data Collection

Curix processes data only when you actively use a feature (for example, when you tap Generate). The information is used exclusively for the following purposes:

Analyze the uploaded photo to understand room context and window area.
Generate a preview image showing suggested curtain styles applied to your room photo.
Generate text recommendations (materials, colors, and care notes).
Store your creations locally on your device when you choose to save them.

3. Third-Party AI Service & Data Transmission

To generate previews and recommendations, Curix uses a third-party AI service. When you tap Generate, the photo you selected and a short instruction prompt are sent to OpenRouter (an AI API gateway), which forwards the request to an AI model provider for processing.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with data brokers. We do not use your data for advertising or for tracking you across apps and websites.

4. Tracking & Advertising

Curix may request your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework. If you allow, Curix may use device identifiers to improve product experience and measure performance. If you do not allow, Curix will continue to work normally, and you can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings.

5. Information Sharing & Disclosure Scenarios

We will never sell, rent or lease your information to third parties for marketing purposes. Limited sharing only occurs under the following circumstances:

Sharing with OpenRouter solely to perform the AI generation you requested.
When required by applicable law or valid legal process.

6. Data Storage & Security

Curix stores your saved creations and profile settings locally on your device. You can remove these at any time by deleting creations or using the in-app Delete Account option.

Network requests are made over HTTPS where supported by the service endpoint.
Local app data is stored in the app sandbox on your device.

7. Your Data Privacy Rights

You reserve the following complete rights regarding your personal information at any time:

The right to access, view and obtain a copy of your personal data held by us.
The right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
The right to request permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal data.
The right to withdraw your previously granted data processing consent.
The right to restrict or object to certain specific data processing activities.

8. Children's Privacy Protection

Our application is not intentionally designed for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from minors without guardian consent. If we discover we have accidentally collected data of children under 13, we will immediately delete such information from our system. If you believe we hold data from an underage user, please contact us promptly.

9. Policy Updates & Notification Mechanism

We reserve the right to revise and update this Privacy Policy from time to time due to service function upgrade, legal requirement adjustment or business optimization needs. All updated versions will be published directly within the Curix application interface, with the latest effective date marked clearly. Your continued use of our services after policy updates are posted constitutes your full acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend you review this Privacy Policy periodically.
